How to hide folders on windows 7

We have to avoid insecurity of computer files and folders to hide.Use the computer to others in the house and you do not want to see any other personal files.And we feel that the others can use our files.
Some methods of hiding data from other people

1.Click on start.

2.open "computer" drive.

3.Click on  top  of left side "organize".

4.Here see "folder and search option".

5.After click on folder and search option ,we  see folder option.

6.Folder option us provide three options general,view,search.

                                                       
7.Click on view icon 

 Here see two option 

(a)Show hidden files,folders and drives

 (b)Do not show  files,folders and drives

8.If we want to see hidden data,we will select Show hidden files,folders and drives,after shall apply and click OK.

9.If we do not  want to see the hidden data,we will select do not Show hidden files,folders and drives,after shall apply and click OK.
